Communion Packet Instructions: There are two fine layers to peel back when taking communion from individual packets. Just peel fine top layer to reveal bread wafer and then peel back remaining layer to reveal juice.
Local Food Bank: There is a designated table in fellowship hall for any non-perishable items for “Loaves and Fishes” Local Food Bank. These items will be collected and delivered. Just coordinate with Pastor for drop off times.
Conference Reopening Plans:
Conference approved outside services are taking place every Sunday on Chilhowie lawn at 10:00 a.m. (to beat heat). Just bring outside lawn chair, bottled water, mask, offering and good worship attitude. Dress casual to stay cool!
The official re-opening plans have been completed and approved, but due to recent C-19 spike, churches have been temporarily closed to in-person worship again. Conference via districts will determine re-opening eligibility based on virus data. Each church council will then communicate and if necessary meet to ultimately decide official in person re-opening date.
